If you want a machine that’s affordable, easy to use, and makes a good cup of coffee, the Braun is for you. We won’t go so far as to say that the coffee you get from the Braun is “great tasting,” but then again, it’s not fair to expect the same results from something that costs $95 as you do from something that costs $350. This last feature is particularly nice because one of the worst parts of cheap drip coffee makers is that they tend to make undrinkably hot coffee that tastes increasingly burnt the longer it sits on a hot plate. This machine is compact and is great for small spaces such as dorms, RV's, or small apartments. I did not use the milk steamer part but my boyfriend said that part was kind of difficult to figure out. You simply fill the machine with coffee, water, and push the start button. If you use the milk steamer make sure to clean it well, sometimes the milk can get caught up inside it. In the long run this machine saved me money since I was not leaving my house to buy overpriced espresso. This brews a great cup of espresso! I have no reason to run to Starbucks when I can make a tasty drink in my own kitchen.
Overall, I recommend this machine! It is reasonably priced, simple to use, and makes a great drink. I did not use the milk steamer on this device, so I cannot say if it is good or bad. You are not wasting your time in a line at a Starbucks and then giving them money for an overpriced espresso. You will save yourself time and money each morning when you use this machine. You hit one button and your espresso will be done in a matter of minutes. I am glad I chose this simple machine as my beginners espresso machine.
